Buyer's Agent, Inc. was formed in July 1988, specifically
to develop and practice the art of Exclusive Buyer Representation.
From the very beginning, The Buyer's Agent, Inc. understood
that the three key elements of a successful real estate transaction were:
Service, Savings and Satisfaction.
The Buyer's Agent, Inc. National Savings Score Board is updated
each night through a wide area network, unique to our company. Each month
the savings are audited and posted. As of this month, the accumulated
savings achieved by clients of all franchises of The Buyer's Agent, Inc.

About
Us
The
Buyer's Agent, Inc. was incorporated under the laws of the
State of Tennessee in July 1988. Its purpose is to provide support services,
though a franchise offering, to real estate brokers and licensees desiring
to practice Exclusive Buyer Brokerage.
The Buyer's Agent of Memphis, Inc. was
formed the same month in 1988 to provide Exclusive Buyer Brokerage services
to consumers in the Memphis, Tennessee market. After meeting initial hostilities
in its local market toward the introduction of exclusive buyer representation,
The Buyer's Agent, of Memphis, Inc. became a success story.
Later that local office adopted the d.b.a. of The Buyer's Agent
Home Buyer's Choice to facilitate the sale of additional independently
owned franchise offices in the Memphis metropolitan area.
In the world of franchising, there are two methods
of development. One method is to develop the frame work of a concept,
give it a name, add glitz, and then sell the concept with hopes of bringing
in enough money later to develop and provide the support necessary to
sustain the organization. The other method is to develop the concept and
support, prove the support works, then sell the concept on its merits.
At The Buyer's Agent, Inc. we chose the second method.
Each year The Buyer's Agent, Inc. has
seen significant growth, both at the national and local levels. This growth
has been evident by the addition of the number of franchise offices opened
and the significant research and development of new and exciting support
programs provided to our franchisees. The result was growth in the amount
of business of the independently owned franchise offices.
All successful franchise companies follow a maturation
process. That process begins with (1) Developing the concept (2) Developing
the support needed by the franchise to succeed (3) Test marketing the
concept (4) Adding offices in markets of various demographics (5) Increasing
the franchise development staff and opening large numbers of offices.
Today, The Buyer's Agent, Inc. is in
the 4th and 5th stages, opening offices in all 50 states and Canada. To
achieve this, The Buyer's Agent, Inc. has recruited several
top franchise development people with years of experience in growing organizations
such as ours.
